Physical build evidence

3D Printed Notebook Cover — Real CoverForge Example

This notebook cover was generated from measured physical dimensions in CoverForge, then physically printed and assembled. It is evidence of the current workflow, not a rendered mockup or a universal fit claim.

The finished cover and its construction

The photographs document the same turquoise prototype: the fitted notebook, the opened assembly, its articulated double hinge and the corner-pocket attachment.

The notebook measurements

Measured notebook height
Approximately 152 mm
Generator height used
153 mm
One cover width
111 mm
Closed spine width
12 mm
Physical notebook cover thickness
1.8 mm

These values describe this build only. The additional 1 mm of generator height was an optional allowance, not a recommendation for other notebooks.

Why wasn't a ready-made STL used?

This cover was generated for the measured notebook dimensions rather than scaled from a fixed-size model. CoverForge calculates the cover geometry from the entered dimensions, and the hinge fit can be calibrated before the full print.

To create one for another notebook, measure it, configure the generator and print the hinge calibration before exporting. Fit depends on measurements and printer tolerances and is not guaranteed.
